Hi,
I have a HP 470 G10 notebook connected via HDMI to external monitor ASUS PG279Q 2560 x 1440, latest Intel Iris XE drivers installed.
After BIOS update to F.09 native screen resolution for my second monitor 2560 x 1440 no longer appears as an option in display settings.
Instead, 1920x1080 appears as highest and recommended resolution. ASUS PG279Q works perfectly on the HDMI output of my HP Pavilion Gaming 15-dk0006nm.
I have :
Tried Win+B procedure with USB Recovery created by BIOS F.06 executable (sp151481) because Update BIOS option is grayed out
Re-installed all of the Intel drivers - Graphics and Chipset
Re-installed OS
Installed Windows 10 to try with it
Installed Ubuntu 25 to try with it
I believe BIOS roll back to F.06 would solve this really disturbing issue, or, even better, new BIOS version which addresses this issue.
Thank you in advance for your help,
Mladen

System Board ID is 8BBA and BIOS F.06 on HP 470 G10 support page doesn't include a valid file for that board, although there is 08bba.bin file.
I seem to have the same problem already discussed in topic

Update:
I missed to read the side note for BIOS F.09 saying:
PREREQUISITES: - Due to security updates installed by this BIOS update, previous BIOS versions cannot be reinstalled after this BIOS update is run.
Now I can release myself of torment and SCREAM:
HP SUPPORT, please, please, pretty please, do your best to release asap a new BIOS which resolves this horrible annoyance with HDMI output resolution.
