Hi There, it seems the BIOS 1.11 is breaking the charging function from an original HP G5 Dock.

 

initially all our laptops are charging fine, but if we undock and goes to a meeting with the laptop, plugs it back in, it will not charge again before we reboot the machines

 

we experience this behavior on all of our 15x 840G8 laptops and G5 docks (all updated to latest firmware/bios/win10 updates)

 

there are posts on other sites where people state the same issue, and by rolling back the bios to version 1.10 it solves the issue...

 

so when will HP fix this ? it is quite the inconvenience to say the least.
