Hello.

I have hp EliteBook 820 G2 and its bios locked by password.how i can remove bios
password from my laptop.please help me. Notebook uuid is
7F246136697EE5119F93214CF304E0FF

Hi:

Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to help you, since HP will no longer supply the required SMC.bin file that is used to clear the BIOS password.

That was the only way it could be done.

Removing the CMOS battery will not clear the P/W.

Also the forum rules were amended on 1 March 2019, which no longer allow us to help with removing passwords.

 

Rule 4.d...

d. No posts shall include instructions or directions intended to bypass or subvert security measures, including passwords, locking mechanisms, fingerprint scans, etc., or to bypass any safety measures.
