Hi,
Regarding:
HP EliteBook 850 G7
HP Thunderbolt 280W G4
Thunderbolt port has not been working since Latest 2024 H2 upgrade win11.
My PC has run out of HP-suport because of age, but was working very god until the upgrade.
-->In my opninon, it should eligal to push new upgrades without any responsibility of function from HP.
The HP-support team will not help me!! I have caled them.
So the question is, what do I do?
- I have used HP support assistant tools and upgraded everything.
- Also installed manually new drivers from "sotware and drivers" web page.
- The G4 Docking is updated and working, tested with a newer HP PC.
- "5 sek power on "trick does not help!
- USB -C Port is working with other devices like Iphone etc.
The issue is that the devicemanager does not recognize the docking.--> It will not show! And nothing works through Thunderbolt, not even ethernet.
The strange thing is if I disable Thunderbolt in BIOS, then ethenet is working through USB-C and the G4 docking, with other USB devices like mouse and keyboard. But screens will not work anyway.
PLEASE HELP!
