Come on now, you do know that I cannot see your laptop. 😉
Look at the keyboard to see if it has the special key that is shown in the manual. If it does'nt, then it does not have the backlit keyboard option.

For my current HP Spectre 13 product loan, I just tap the key which is described in the manual.
Make sure that action keys is turned on in the BIOS, Otherwise you will have to hold down the Fn key to use the special key for the keyboard backight.
