Hello,

 

seems like the latest Intel Graphics Driver (https://support.hp.com/de-de/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-elitebook-840-g7-notebook-pc/33386515/...) causes BSOD and Freezes.

 

I did a clean uninstall with DDU and rolled backed to 26.20.100.7985 Rev.W, so far no issues.

everything in the support site has been tested and should not be causing BSOD... instead of downloading from the web, i would try and use HP Image Assistant to update the BIOS and drivers... HPIA uses factory logic to analyze your system and determine what needs to be updated

Did you confirm this to be the issue? I have some 840 G7s that are seeing BSOD issues with the stop code INTERNAL_POWER_ERROR.

 

They do have this driver version installed, I haven't tested rolling back yet.
