HP Support has FINALLY released a BIOS firmware update to fix this problem.
BIOS firmware 01.09.00 Rev.A does fix this problem.
Unable to edit the original post as it has "It has been a while since anyone has replied." So I had to " Simply ask a new question if you would like to start the discussion again." Yes, when it takes SIX MONTHS to release a fix for this, it certainly has been a while.... so....
I did want to let others know the solution, so I created this new post.
