I was very satisfied with my HP Envy 360 laptop when I first bought it 2 years ago. I have had no issues until now. The hinge on the left side of my laptop has broken and the casing on the back is now detaching. I am a very disappointed customer. A two year old laptop that has been taken care of should not be falling apart, especially for the price that was paid. It has come to my attention that this has been an issue with HP for years. The fact that these computers have a hinge problem but it doesn't seem to be covered by the warranty even if you have it is ridiculous. My warranty has expired since last year and I can't even find someone to repair it for a decent price. I am extremely disappointed in HP products. I needed this laptop to get me through at least 4 years of schooling and it has failed miserably with no fair solution to the issue. If the hinge is a consistent complaint among customers, which from my research it seems to be, then HP should fix it. I am not even sure if anyone can offer advice for my predicament, but I am in need of a repair and fast as I am in the middle of exams. Thanks in advanced!
