Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi I have a user with  HP EliteBook 850 G6 Notebook PC and it's like the thing eats Docking Stations.

A new one works for awhile but then after some Windows 10 or HP update the Docking station works perfectly find with everything like displays, USB transfering of files, charging, VGA, DPort, HDMI and sound but stops allows LAN connection with the Ethernet plugged into the Dock.

The LAN hard wired works if the user plugs directly into the laptop.

We changed out Ethernet cables and checked the drop too.

Loaded all suggested files, drivers and firmware from HP Image Asst and HP support asst and HP.com

Also a lot of times the HP.com firmware and drivers for G2 Dock appear to run fine but then cuts out at the end.

There is warning item in the Device manager related to the dock when plugged in...

Is there a log that shows the status of the Firmware update?

And if I tried it many times and it seems to just quit without error towards the bottom of the screen/process then what?
