Hello!
I'm trying to use the HP G5 USB-C Docking Station with a M1 MacBook Air. I've read from numerous people on these forums that it works for a single monitor (which is all I'm trying to use) but I can't get my M1 MacBook Air to recognise the monitor at all. I've tried using the HDMI and both DP ports, nothing is working. The rest of the dock is working correctly, power is being supplied and USB ports are working. I have already updated my dock to the latest firmware and the MacBook Air is running the latest update of BigSur.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

There is a list of compatible machines on the following document
https://www8.hp.com/h20195/v2/GetPDF.aspx/c06706129.pdf
I tested on HP machines, Dell machines (but not Mac) which have same type of USB-C ports and PSU's. They worked perfectly.
I'm using USB-C Gen 5 dock with my HP Elitebook Gen 5 right now
Regards.
