Hi,

On my company we have bought some HP USB-C Dock G4 stations to be use on both HP ProBook laptops and MacBook Pro laptops with dual monitors on both. The problem is that on MacBook mirrors the two display as the same when connected to the Dock Station.

Has someone ahas the same issue and knows how to fix it using this same dock or should we try to get a different model?

I know the thread is about the ThunderBolt 3 dock but the same premise applies so give this a read.

In a nutshell macOS does not support DisplayPort MST which is what many USB-C hubs use for multiple monitor support.

If you search on "macOS and MST" you can see reports from all over that macOS only supports MST in mirror mode.
