Product: Elitebook 850 G1
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey everyone,

 

I recently replaced my hard drive on my laptop, and now I don't have the HP tools and HP recovery partition. So here's the problem...I want to download some of that software that came with my laptop, so I watched a video about using a tool from the Hp recovery partition to get that stuff back. But I don't have that partition anymore. Is there a way to get these things back?

Older machines have 2 partitions:

  1. HP_TOOLS: I don't know what are on your machine but my machine which is an HP 840 does not have it
  2. Recovery: It is out of date now, you can recover Windows 10 any time using Microsoft installation guide. Again newer machines do not have Recovery partition.
