Hello,

after new BIOS update, HP power manager stop working. Every time when I open Power manager and turn on HP intelligent charging, after I close app, it will turn off automaticaly... I checked power manager in BIOS settings and everything is allowed. Before BIOS update, power manager was working.

I have latest version of PM - 3.1.12.0

Any help with this situation?

Thanks

I'm experiencing the same issue. Additionally, the System Control setting selection in HP Power Manager is no longer functioning as it did before.

I have the same issue.

Is there any fix by now?

I'm having the same issue. Even if I select the HP Intelligent Charging, it doesn't seem to work. Previously, a notification would pop up mentioning that the charging was stopped.

I made few updates, but it's still not working + now Power manager start showing me, that battery need to be replaced (in same time it is showing that health is on 100%), but battery is working absolutly normaly. New BIOS update realy destroyed this useful app...

I have exactly the same issue and behavior.

Powermanager shows that I have to replace the battery, but the battery is at 97% health.

Hi, everyone. I rollbacked to previous BIOS then that problem is solved. I found the previous BIOS version under the software & drivers in support page. But still I have doubts on the effectiveness of the system control settings in th HP Power Manager. I think fans are not working as they used to be.

I had the same issue. HP Support told me to wait for the next BIOS, update.

Meanwhile, I figured out that changing from Maximize My Battery Health to Let HP Manage My Battery Charging in BIOS (because the app is not working at all) solved the problem of the message where it says the battery needs to be replaced (the battery doesn't have any issue at all).

@DrAsafCetinEren

Can you tell us which (previous) BIOS version you have chosen? Also, with that version, does HP Power Manager retain the option selection, or it still resets every time it starts?

Hp Power Manager retains the option selected. I rolled back to V70 Ver. 01.04.00 - 01/18/2024 from V70 ver. 01.05.21.
