Hi,
HP Business PCs - Reset My PC May Fail When HP Sure Run Is Activated
Avoid the issue by disabling HP Sure Run prior to performing the PC reset:
-
Start or restart the computer.
-
Press F10 during startup to enter the Computer Setup utility (F10 Setup).
-
Click the Security tab.
-
Click HP Secure Platform Management (SPM).
-
Click the link Deactivate HP Sure Run.
-
Save changes and exit.
-
Perform PC reset.
-
After reset is complete, boot into Windows, launch HP Client Security Manager, and re-enable HP Sure Run.
