Installed Windows 10 64bit on a Hp Elitebook 8570p and can't get a working driver for the Hp Mobile Data Protection Sensor and installed the Hp DriveGuard Software from https://support.hp.com/gb-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-elitebook-8570p-notebook-pc/5212912
I believe it was sp71714 with driver date of 6/11/15 and version 5.2.1.1 and when the laptop starts up I get a pop up box that says "Hp Accelerator can't run on Windows" Any newer driver or fix??

Hi:
See this discussion. The 8570w uses the same version of the 3D driveguard hardware...

Hi,
you do not need to use the XP driver (Version 5.0.8.0 from 2012) mentioned in the URL above, which is very old I would say. You can follow the steps mentioned here and use 7.0.2.1 (from 2018). You only need to uninstall ALL old driver and then manually go into the system settings choose the the non working device and point it to the accelerometer.inf and voila ... its recognized and working without using a 8 year old driver ...
