I have no available chargers that I can use for it. I connect this dock to my laptop only that has a 200w adapter. What do I do? Our country doesn't really have this since it came from a different country.

Hi @navblued,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you've misplaced the charger for your HP USB-C Dock G5 and it's challenging to find a replacement locally, here are some possible solutions.

Online Purchase:

  • Consider purchasing a replacement charger online from trusted e-commerce platforms that deliver internationally. Ensure the charger is compatible with the specifications of the HP USB-C Dock G5.

Check Local Electronics Stores:

  • Visit electronics stores or IT retailers that might stock universal chargers compatible with HP USB-C docks. It's essential to double-check compatibility to avoid damage.

Use an Alternative Dock or Power Source:

  • In the interim, if you have access to another dock or power solution, use that until you can source the correct charger.

Explore HP Resellers:

  • Identify any official HP resellers in nearby regions or countries who may ship the required charger to your location.

When purchasing a replacement charger, ensure it adheres to the power specifications required by the HP USB-C Dock G5 to avoid any potential damage or functionality issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
