i am using ubuntu gnu/linux (also, for you who made this website, linux ISNT an operating system. gnu/linux is, linux is just the kernel) and cannot get my network to network. only ethernet shows up in my settings menu, and wi-fi doesnt. it probably thinks i dont have a wifi card or something like that installed, and even ethernet doesnt work. i have had this problem for as long as i have had this laptop.

 

if its because your drivers that you supply suck, please fix them or open source them so people can make them actually work.

You can go to Additional Drivers on Ubuntu and see whether the wifi drivers in question are available as a dkms module.

HP Notebook: HP 14-dk0028wm
Current Operating System: Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
