Hi HP Community - I have a HP Notebook (Model # 15-da2019tx) I'm currently running dual screens and various inputs through a HP USBC doc (model # HSA - B005DS), as the note book doesn't have a USB-C port I'm using the  HP 4.5mm and USB-C Dock adapter G2 65W charging. The networking, screens and other USB functions are all working through the USB adapter, however the 4.5mm plug doesn't appear to charge the laptop.

Has anyone come across this before or have a fix for it ? I'd appreciate any assistance or suggestions 🙂

Thanks in advance !

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

This notebook cannot be charged through the USB moreover this doesn't even have a USB 3.0 Thunderbolt.

You need to charge the laptop through the regular charging port using the AC adapter.

Thanks!

Have a great day!
