Hi..I have a HP 15series laptop. It's not getting ON without connecting adaptor for once. It's like it needs kick start for the first time a day.
Afterwards it properly works on battery backup.
I have tried replacing multiple batteries but issue is the same .
Plz help me to find the solution

Hello @Zuh
Do the following trick ...
(1) Open the windows device manager and uninstall the "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery"
- Right click on "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery"
- Click "Uninstall device"
- Confirm your choice if you see a popup notification
(2) Shutdown your notebook/computer
(3) Remove battery, remove ac adapter, press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
(Note: If you cannot remove battery because you have to open the notebook and don't want to do it, just start the notebook and go directly into the bios (ESC/F1/F2/F10) and let the notebook stay there (don't connect the AC adapter !) until it is switching off.
(3) Install battery, plugin ac adapter and wait until the battery is fully charged (don't start the windows operating system !) and check the charging led.
(4) If you do have no charging led, wait at least 2 hours ...
(5) Start your notebook/computer, now the windows battery management system is synchronized with your installed battery. Normally it should show 98-100% battery level.
(6) If your battery level is too low and you are loosing your battery capacity too fast, your battery has to be replaced...
best regards

To help you I need to know the product number (p/n) of your notebook !
You will find this information on the back of your notebook printed in small alphanumeric letters.
The product number (p/n) is legally allowed information, just about the computer, no sensitive data.
It is allowed to post in public, no problem.
best regards

Hello @ShZuAh
(1) Check you hardware
Using the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) to diagnose hardware errors ...

Watch how it works:

(2) Update BIOS ( Only if there are no hardware errors ! )
HP Notebook System BIOS Update (Intel Processors) | F.41 Rev.A | 50.9 MB | May 16, 2022 | Download |
Why ?

Updating the BIOS is recommended as standard maintenance of the computer. It can also help resolve the following issues:
- An available BIOS update resolves a specific issue or improves computer performance.
- The current BIOS does not support a hardware component or a Windows upgrade.
- HP Support recommends installing a specific BIOS update.
"
(3) Test again ...
best regards
