I have the Zbook 15 G3 with the same i7-6700HQ CPU and M2000M video card and basically the same motherboard. Yes there are actually 4 RAM slots and it can take up to 4 x 16 gig memory for a total of 64 gigs of RAM. I have 2 x 8 = 16 in mine but there are two empty memory slots.
The memory you propose is correct. Assuming you only have 2 memory "straps" now you can add two more. The Manual has instructions for how to populate the slots to have dual channel memory but if you have 2 x 8 now and you add 2 more 8 gig chips it will be dual channel.
