My HP Spectre is 10 days old and it is shutting itself down going to a black screen.

My 10 day old HP Spectre shuts itself down going to a black screen. I have to start it up again loosing all current data.

It is a 10th gen core i7 .  Do I return it or can it be fixed?

Please, ensure specifically that BIOS/UEFI and Intel ME related updates are applied.
