Is your machine an OMEN by HP - 17-an138ur ? Its specs

It does NOT have Thunderbolt 3 port. It ONLY has One USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (Data Transfer up to 5 Gb/s, DP1.2, HP Sleep and Charge);  which is on the left side of your machine, between USB 3.0 port and headphones port as shown (# 6):

Note: Again, it is NOT a Thunderbolt 3 port.
