RE: CCC Certificate Needed from HP for power cord (China compulsory certificate)

That is correct.  The product is currently sitting in China customs awaiting the certificate that shows the CCC mark is valid.  China will send back any product that cannot provide the certificate to the CCC marked by the manufacturer.  I know HP has the certificate; since marking CCC would be illegal if they did not have the certificate from the testing completed; but HP sure does make it very difficult to obtain it from them . 

I will share what i learn and the process with HP once it is obtained from them.

i have not recived any contact from HP regrding this request.  Can you please assist in providing me the contact information? 

I have tried again (3rd time) today calling HP customer service.  One customer service person transfered me to technical support.  I sat on the phone for 36 munutes and at the end the person transfers me to custmer service again where i sat on the phone again for 28 minutes.  Then i get transferred again to another person that stated they were technical product support and they transferred me back to customer service.  I then asked again to please just put me in contact with someone in Regulatory or Compliance department, and the answer i got was, "we do not have a regulatory or compliance departement..."  Are you kidding me HP?!  This was a supervisor in customer service that said this to me.  Of course HP has regulatory/compliance departments!  This is ridiculous it is taking me so much time to find even just a contact to get this certificate; this is a simple basic request from companies!

Update to the community: 

I have recived the CCC certificate.  HP customer service was not helpful at all and only created frustration from thier lack of customer service and knowldege by thier employees i was consistently transferred between.  My suggestion to everyone is if you have a distributor for your HP products and/or a "middle person" , contact them to obtain.  I had multiple departments on this task and finally one of our purchasing employees was  able to obtain from our middle person.  I hope this information will help another when my post pops up in thier search for solutions to obtain a CCC for a product.
