I have open system. But still confused about SSD Port. Please look into picture attached and advice if it is 2.M or other ?? Please advice

Hi:

 

Yes, that is the M.2 slot in your picture.

 

The SSD goes over the two ribbon cables and you need a screw to hold down the end of the SSD where you see that round silver standoff on the other side of the ribbons.

 

Your first picture would be looking from the mounting screw end to the slot.

 

Reminder...SATA only.
