Hi all, i've just received my hp elitebook x flip g1i a week back and i've just noticed that the right hinge is slanted relative to the left one. I'm concern ed as this might lead to more wear and tear overtime with repeated closing and opening of the hinges. Given it's still under warranty, can i get this fixed?right hinge is slanted

Hello.
New commercial HP laptops such as Elitebook have a DOA period where HP will send you a new laptop instead of repairing the faults. The DOA period is measured in days, so I recommend contacting immediately either HP or the place you bought the laptop from.
If you DOA period is over, or you don't want to use for some reason, you can still have this hinge repaired under warranty. Either contact HP directly or your local HP authorized service to have it fixed.
