Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

hi HP team,

 

my touchpad is not working, Windows 10 64 bit.

I tried to reinstall new driver for it but still not working.

I use HP SDM tool to update but yet touchpad is not functioning.

I already tried to reseat touchpad cable but still not functioning.

Touchpad Driver is ELAN.

and it has warning message a color yellow letter A.

I wonder why its not funtioning due that SDM update tool can detect it to install driver.

hi mandy,

 

issue is resolved by replacing touchpad.

 found out that the touchpad board is defective.

Hi Isoliva,

 

Please try to enable the touchpad by tapping on the left top corner of the touchpad where the LED is present.
