HP EliteBook 860 16 inch G9 Notebook PC (4C153AV)

The keyboard backlight does not work. Does not respond to switching on and off with the key. I use a new laptop for the 1st day. I didn't find the backlight operating time settings in the bios, judging by the technical characteristics on the website, there is a backlight in this model.

That is an optional item. Did you actually buy backlit keyboard option for your machine ? Does it have any key with backlit symbol  banhien_0-1685578818941.jpeg     (normally f4 or f5) ?

  • If no then it does not have baclkit keyboard.
  • If yes please use the following Guide

Yes, this model definitely has a backlight, I tried all the methods indicated by the link - it does not help (

I'm starting to assume that it's either the drivers or it's a marriage
