Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The notification "Safe to remove usb device" doesn't show. The driver version is Intel 10.0.17763.1 which I cannot find on HP or Intel drivers.
Where are they ?

This fixed it for me. Thanl you Windows 10 Forumn

 

Step 1. Go to > Settings > PrivacyStep 2. App Permissions > Background Apps.Toggle ‘Let apps run in the background’ switch to off. Restart computer. (action center not showing previously or new notifications)Step 3. Go back to the settings page, previously mentioned in step 1 and 2.Toggle the ‘Let apps run in the background’ switch to on, as described in Step 2.Restart once again.

Pleae download and install Chipset drivers from the following link

 

     https://support.hp.com/au-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-probook-450-g4-notebook-pc/10477253

 

Reboot then try

 

   https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/65855/Intel-USB-3-0-eXtensible-Host-Controller-Driver

The chipset driver installed ok

The Intel driver doesn't support Windows 10

I did restart after chipset installed
