Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,
Few months ago type-c port stopped working. It doesn't work for charging, even when laptop is turned off. When I connect something with type-c cable, device is not reacting.
In device manager I can see code 43 for "ucm-ucsi acpi device".  First of all I tried to press power button for 15 seconds - it didn't help. Tried to set bios defaults - no changes. I tried to rollback bios, it didn't help. Tried to update bios from flash and got "USB Type-C Controller Firmware Update failed. Info: Firmware initialization failed".
Current bios is Q78 Ver. 01.15.00
OS  Windows 10 Corp 64-bit Version: 19042.804

How to solve this issue?

recommendation is to run HP Image Assistant and update the BIOS (which has usb-c and other firmware included) AND other drivers as it suggests

I work for HP. However, all opinions and comments are my own.
