Unable to clear fingerprint data in HP client security manager. Which is why I am getting an error "The specified identity and sub-factor are already enrolled in the database" and am unable to register my index and middle finger to set up fingerprint authentication in HP Client Security Manager. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The product is still in warranty.

Hello roy92,

Welcome to Forum !!

Access BIOS using F10  Key at the start up

Login as Administrator.

NOTE : If you have not set up ADMIN PASSWORD. Create one and right it down somewhere. Select SECURITY TAB.

Check the box. Fingerprint reset on reboot.  SAVE and EXIT

Try to register again.

That worked like a charm. Thank You very much. Do you recommend using HP Client security manager or Windows Hello for fingerpring authentication?

Sorry to bother you again but by any chance do you know how to set up HP SpareKey properly without any issues. I am trying to set it up in HP client Security Manager but I get an error message.

Here's the post that I have created for it:
