Is there a way to get the HP ZBook Thunderbolt 3 Dock to work on other machines other than HP ZBooks? I have tried to connect it to another laptop (ASUS UX430U) with a usb-c port, but the laptop doesn't see it. I have also tried install the Thunderbolt software (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27719/NUCs-Thunderbolt-Bus-Driver-for-Intel-NUC-Kit-NUC8i7...) but the software doesn't see the dock either. I have the power supply for the dock and have confirmed it works with a ZBook.

HP did not test the HP Thunderbolt 3 dock with products other than HP laptops...However, the Thunderbolt G2 dock went through some non-HP system testing for overall compatibility... In principle as long as the laptops support Thunderbolt 3 over their usb-c ports and can receive the right power profile (voltage and current) supplied by the dock, it should work, but it's impossible to say what products will work, other than HP's - since HP does not have the ability test every possible system deployed

I was looking for if someone had found a solution to the problem, or the reason why it wouldn't be compatible with any computer with a usb-c port, and if there was a way I could fix that. If someone did find a solution, I would be very glad.
