#BH5 at end of Product number indicates country. I just don't have access to the list. Have asked for help.

#BH5 indicates Africa and does not the country where the unit was purchased.
If you contact HP Technical Support and provide them the serial number they should be able to determine you warranty status.

Thanks for providing country released in. (The poster states he bought it online). It is not easy to get a call through to HP Support to ask questions,btw.
His question about country is to dertermine if he can get warranty service in his area- since warranty is not usually honored in a country outside of the release. Or the owner is told they will have to ship it back to country released in to get warranty service.

Where it asks for your country use the country where you are currently located. Enter your serial number and the language.
Click on the Show Options button to see the options available to you for HP Technical Support.

I think your Product Number is wrong- Y8A42EA#BH5 doesn't exist anywhere on HP site. I did find several online stores selling the laptop with P/N as Y8A42EA but again-I believe that is wrong.
Check the Service Tag attached to laptop and verify P/N:
