Hi @Andruyko ,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
On many laptops, including the HP ENVY x360 series, the Insert key is often combined with another key and is accessed using the "Fn" (function) key. However, the specific key combination can vary between different laptop models.
If pressing "Fn + E" is not working to activate the Insert function on your HP ENVY x360 15.6 Inch 2-In-1 Laptop with Windows 11, there are a few things you can try:
Check the Keyboard Layout: Make sure that your laptop has the standard QWERTY keyboard layout. Some laptops may have different keyboard layouts, and the Insert key might be placed in a different location.
Try Other Combinations: The combination for the Insert key might be different on your specific laptop. Try using other combinations, such as "Fn + Num Lk" or "Fn + PrtSc" to see if the Insert function is activated.
Check the User Manual: Refer to the user manual or documentation that came with your laptop. It often contains information about the keyboard layout and function key combinations.
Update Keyboard Drivers: Make sure your keyboard drivers are up to date. You can do this through the Device Manager on your Windows system. Right-click on the Start button, select "Device Manager," find the "Keyboards" section, right-click on your keyboard, and choose "Update driver."
Use On-Screen Keyboard: As a workaround, you can use the on-screen keyboard to access the Insert key. You can find the on-screen keyboard in the Ease of Access settings or by searching for "On-Screen Keyboard" in the Start menu.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
