zbook create g7

Hello,

Firstly wanted to say that the G7 create is a HOT laptop, and that fan is a beast! noisiest thing in my house.

Anyway.

I noticed tonight that the laptop was in Sleep mode and the fan was running. in 20 years of owning a laptop that never happened!  it was 100% in sleep mode and fan was on (slow speed)

Surely that can't be normal?

thanks

/J

Hello @bananacy

Perhaps your device is not entering Sleep mode properly. Please, check this article and follow the steps (perform them all)

With regards to fan being noisy, consider that this is extremely powerful machine in a very small package. If this bothers you, please contact HP Support to have the issue investigated further >> https://www8.hp.com/gr/el/contact-hp/contact.html
