Hello,my notebook is hp elitebook 8770w .

cpu:i7-3740 with intel hd graphics 4000.

graphics:amd firepro M4000 or amd hd 7700M.

intel hd graphics 4000 on motherboard isnt displayed in the device manager.how to enable Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 on hp elitebook 8770w?

Sounds about on par with mine. Hp locks out the Intel GPU in bios or on the motherboard. I do not know which. Though, I am going to try to build a new bios to fix all the problems with the 8770w.

did you check the BIOS for a setting that shows Discrete Only, perhaps?

Where would I find it under? I have the bios up to go looking for that setting.

I just scrubbed through the entire bios that is accessible from startup. Unless it is hidden with a magical key combination, that setting is not in the laptop.
