Product: Elitebook 8440P
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi,


I need help with unlocking the mpm on hp elitebook 8440p so i can use dmifit tools to re-write information to the system bios to stop errors during boot.

 

I tried the smc bin to unlock this but all i get is smc command failed.

 

Please help & please only relevant answers not answers telling me to replace the system board or getting it serviced.

HP Recommended

Only HP Support can help with this... however, since this is such an old system - about 7 generations back - you may have issues obtaining that. in essence, you call HP support and ask if possible
