Product: HP Probook 455 G7
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

i just bought a hp probook 445 g7, and the fingerprint driver does not work, it does show up in device manager at all, windows cant find it. Ive looked in bios, no option to enable / disable.

 

Please help.

Please try part on page 18 of the following manual

Manual is for Intel machines, hope it works on AMD machines.

Machine may have a place for Finger Print but the series does not have Finger Print reader option therefore NO sensor/reader underneath the area.

 

Manual  (what is your machine ? 445 or 455 ?

My machine is a HP Probook 445 G7.

The 'instastallation guide' says in has a fingerprint reader.

 

Is it still possible for it not have it?

Manuals for both do not shows part # for Finger Print. You need a right part
