I can't register my laptop.  I used the diagnostic tool and got the same serial number that I read on the bottom of the laptop.  Entering it to add to my account it doesn't recognize it and asks for name of it which was also verified in the diagnostic tool.  That isn't recognized as legit either.  I get in a loop of non-help when i try to get help.  I have to have my laptop on my dashboard but I can't get it put there.

What is your 17.3 inch FHD business laptop.  Registering a business laptop would take 5 minutes max. Again, what is it ?

HP 17.3 Inch FHD Business Laptop, Intel 13th Gen Core i7-1355U, Windows 11 Pro, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, H...

 

This above is my 17.3 inch FHD business laptop.  I took the serial # off of the bottom plus the name of it.  HP registration doesn't see it as theirs.  I don't know anything more to do.  I try to get help but they need it to be registered first ...but I can't register it!  I have the info directly off of the laptop and I have corroboration of that information by running hp diagnostic tool.  I'm beginning to think this is not a real hp laptop.  Do you want any more info?  I assume I am not to give out the ser # but maybe the "name" of it.  Anything else I can give you, I will.

Make sure you type the serial number correctly. Double/triple check it from the HP label from the HP box or from the F1 system information BIOS menu >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSN0qzXayUY

 

Also, check the serial number is recognized in this website >> https://partsurfer.hp.com/partsurfer/
