I bought an HP EliteDesk 800 G4 and it came with the "Draco DP Rev A" Display Port board installed and I wanted an HDMI port as this is going to be my bedroom Netflix PC
So I went and bought then installed the HP Flex IO board part numbers "L25757-001 L37415-001" however I get no video from it at all no HP boot screen and my TV says the dreaded "no signal" message! However I can get video with my DP to HDMI adapter so I do know the PC is still working but no 4K as I have a basic DP to HDMI adapter.
So my main question did I go and purchase the wrong board for my EliteDesk 800 G4 with the i5-8500 and the Intel UHD 630 iGPU?
Thanks

if you get a display port to hdmi adapter make sure it's a ACTIVE one, this may save you hours of grief

the HDMI flex board you reference in your post is the correct one for your system,
https://www.amazon.com/HP-3TK72AA-Audio-Video-Connector/dp/B07DH4597J
and your cpu does have embedded graphics (required for the flex/IO HDMI to work)
however if you have a add-in video card, the bios will usually make that the default and disable the onboard video
on some systems you can override this and re enable the onboard video in the bios when using a add-in video card but i don't think your system allows this
install the HDMI part, them shutdown remove power cord and do a CMOS reset then reconnect power cord and try powering on

No add in video, card I reset the BIOS and still no video output from the HDMI card! I guess I got a bad one? I guess I will just try and return it and get a 4K compatible Display Port to HDMI cable. I did make sure the connector is 100% seated and it is I had to take off the heatsink to get more leverage to pop the old DP board off so I do know for a fact it is seated 100%
