Your SMB configuration is perfect. Missing the FTP protocol is the reason caused the Agent Upgrade failure.

 

HPDM 4.4.3 is the first version we support SMB protocol - with DM Agent version 4.4.3660.14029. For any DM Agent earlier than that version, you have to do the upgrade with FTP.

- In your case, the agent version is 4.4.3660.12652 which is earlier than 14029.

 

Once you have updated the Agent to the latest version, you can disable the FTP protocol and use the sharefolder per needs.
