I have successfully installed a previous F.55 bios! I'm about to try installing windows and everything seems good! Again THANK YOU! I feel like this could actually be a viable solution for everyone with an ami bios! I'll keep u all posted!

OMG BE CAREFUL! THE BAD BIOS UPDATE IS EVEN IN WINDOWS 11 OPTIONAL UPDATES! DON'T LET THIS INSTALL! WOW!

OMG... the performance of my PC actually increased by like 50% now my games play soooo much better! FPS increased so much that some games that were borderline unplayable are actually playing GREAT! This fixed my PC! THANKS EVERYONE, we all deserve a pat on the back for this!

I'm convinced it's fixed! I extensively tested Windows 11 and eventually reinstalled Windows 10 and it's been completely fine being on and stress tested all this time. Hasn't locked up once or done anything except... WORK WELL!

Who ever came with this idea of flashing the bios using AMI BIOS utility should work for HP.

 

Thanks to this person I was able to downgrade my 690-0067c PC from bios version F.57(bad bios) to the F.55 BIOS(good BIOS).

 

For now the PC is working fine. No freeze.
