Product: HP Z6 G4 Workstation

Hi 

 

I just upgraded the front panel on my HP Z6 G4 using HP 935685-001 SPS-Front IO-UI w/Speaker-Premium Zx-G4 for the  2 x USB-C ports and on bootup I now receive the message:

 

Post error : 915-Front Panel OCuLink Cable not connected

 

Odd that the cable doesn't come with the kit from HP.   I believe the part is L10321-001 SPS-CABLE KIT - FRONT I/O PREM - Z6 G4 but if anyone has completed the upgrade successfully would confirm that would be amazing!

if it is the cable you require it's not a cheap one..
