Does anyone have any experience with HP DL360e Gen 8 and the HP b320i raid controller. This controller needs a driver to work with linux. I believe its an hpvsa driver?
My questions in detail is posted here

It looks like centos7 and SUSE 12 hp has drivers for this. But I would like to find an updated driver, obviously, and I have tried these drivers on boot for several distros with no luck... just keeps asking for media like it does not find anything
any help, thanks

Hi:
HP split into two companies back in 2014.
HP supports PC's, printers, tablets and calculators.
HP Enterprise (HPE) supports servers, switches, routers and tape storage devices.
You may want to post your question on the HPE community support forum -- Proliant servers section.

replacing this HP proprietary controller with one that has support for your chosen OS appears to be the best option
this card uses a closed source driver that HP developed
Drivers for these controllers are available on www.hpe.com in the form of a driver update disk
