We also have a few 600G2 mini's at the customers site, we replaced the hdd for a Samsung 850 ssd, sometimes after shutdown, the pc reboots and can't find it's ssd anymore. Power-off the device or remove the powerplug solves the problem, but it is very strange and shouldn't happen.
Just updated the firmware to the 00.02.11 without luck 😞

This utility automates the process to create a Windows 7* installation image to include USB 3.0 drivers. The new installation image can then be used to install Windows 7 on Intel® NUC products that have only USB 3.0 ports.
The Readme includes:
- Instructions on using this utility
- Instructions for alternative methods of updating an image to include USB 3.0 drivers (DISM GUI and DSM Command Line)
This is easy one. It take 5 minutes to solve your usb 3 driver issue. GOOD LUCK

Has there been any update on this?
I have the same error on about 5 machines, all with a Bios version of 02.16 so later than the bios version stated here.
The machines restart after being shutdown so when users come in the morning the screen says HDD error (3F0)
I have tried all suggestions apart from reinstalling as i did not want to do this because of user profiles.
Any help would be great.
Regards

I'm trying to install Windows 7 64 onto an HP Prodesk 600 G2 small form factor. The install stops at selecting a language because neither a mouse or keyboard are recognized as they are connected to the USB3 ports. There are no USB 2 ports or PS/2 ports.
These instructions for creating a Windows 7 64 iso sound like they will work. Unfortunately, I'm fine until i get to step 10.
c:\wim>cd c:\usb3\x64
c:\USB3\x64>dism /image:C:\wim\mount /add-driver /driver:c:\USB3\x64 /recurse /forceunsigned
There is no mention of where to get the actual Windows 7 64 USB3 drivers to insert into the iso. Where do i get the appropriate WIndows 7 64 USB3 drivers for the Prodesk 600 G2 sff?
Thanks,
Scott
