Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I'm trying to upgrade the PSU in my HP Z240 desktop, but it seems that the stock psu uses a "P2" connection to the motherboard that doesn't exist on the new (or any that I can find) psu.

 

The P2 is a 6-pin connection that uses 4-pins (the other 2 are blank). I'm trying to find a pin diagram for this P2 connection so I can make an adapter to plug into the standard ATX 24-pin from the psu.

I guess that was no answer to the question. I'm also looking for a pin diagram for the P2 connector on a dps-320qb b PSU from HP. I can't find it anywhere. Certainly not in the manuals referred to nor the manuals and schemes of the model I have (HP EliteDesk 800 G1 Tower-pc)

I just need to know what voltage the gray one, the green one, the white one and the red/white one are.

The pins on the adapter are in another order (left to right instead of right to left) so they need to be repinned.

Please provide us an answer asrequested.

You may not understand what this forum is..... it is a user to user self-help fourm.  HP engineers are not reached via this forum.  There might be someone here who happened to get out their voltmeter in the past, and know the answer to your request.... but if that was the case then they tend to get back to you pretty quickly.  Since there is no answer perhaps you can do this research yourself and let us all know.

You may just buy this adapter cable especially for Z240and use it directly quick and easy, without any DIY or wire modification.
