Hi Everyone
We have not deployed any TC520 images for a few months. I have been trying for a few days now and we are getting an error.
NOTHING has changed (as far as I can see) in the past few months.
The repositories are still there and can connect on the TEST page.
Images are still there....and have not been changed.
TC520 are the same TC520 machines
Version numbers of the HPDM and the client match....
I can reboot/update etc the clients...just the imaging thats failing
So basically nothing has changed.
But when I deploy an image I get
Failure to execute DeployImage Task.
2016-08-15 16:20:44 [Error Details]: Deploy image using repository Master Repository.
Failure deploying T520_Vanilla_2k7.ibr from /Repository/Images/T520_Vanilla.
Failed to execute DeployImage task.
ErrorCode: 1080320, Error Info: ..\..\Task\wins\ImageTask_XPE.cpp@392: Failed to run wes repack script.
..\..\Task\wins\ImageTask_XPE.cpp@2416: Error running repack script
..\..\Task\wins\ImageTask_XPE.cpp@2414: Run process return code = -200. Command = C:\repack\Wes7ImageTool\bin\ImageTool.exe -f C:\repack\Wes7ImageTool\Config.ini
Any ideas?
TIA
Craig

I would suggest you use 4.7 SP2 or later version. As from SP2 we use the PE from DM Repository instead from local device.
This should be able to fix the issue you encountered.
My opinions are my own, and do not express those of HPI.

Can you please confirm the operating system your thin client is running on? WES7E 32bit or WES7P 64bit
You mentioned 64bit OS however the logs indicate it's a 32 bit operating system.
Can you please also check the DM Agent version on the Thin Client?
The error indicate that there is no PE on the local thin client used for imaging task. Could you please update the DM Agent to the latest version and try?

Hi Chen
My bad - its Windows 7E 32 bit...I guess I clicked the wrong Subject option.
Client version is 4.7.3660.23051 (the same as all the other clients on the network)
Have run the "_update agent" task and that was successful. But trying to push an image onto the Client still fails with the same error.
Hope you can help....
Craig

Well paint me yellow and call me a banana.
Updated HPDM to Sp4
Update the Agent on the client
.....client now accepting the image....
No idea what had changed....but happy anyway.
Thanks Chen - you are a STAR!!!
