How insert 1 or 2 SATA 3 HDDs 3.5" in HP Z620 WS PC - bought used in ebay - problem sata cable not exist, I think...
I tried insert one HDD big 3.5" in the HDD bays, but HDD not found or recognized or seen neither in My PC nor in disk management...
Well, in the motherboard exist 3 white sata sockets are free - not connected -... have to linked to the 3 HDD bays, so when insert 1 or 2 or 3 HDDs in their case fitted in, the HDDs seen in my PC...? Also, what about power of these HDD's bays, are powered ready by default...? How, link the HDDs bays to the motherboard??? Sata 3

Hello
I am not sure I understand it, but if your HDDs are not connected, they cannot work
It is like this for many models, there may be a slot available, but the sata data cable is not in place.
you have to buy it
Then, you must check if you have the sata power supply cables, which must be at the level of the power supply box.
In some cases, it is a special cable that is connected to the motherboard
Already have an HDD in place? how is it connected ??

HP Z620
Workstation has 3 bays of 3 secondary HDDs, in the inner of the bay there's SATA and SATA POWER connector already in place, in other words you have not to connect the secondary HDD directly with cables, buy to connect directly the bays... after indirectly you insert a secondary HDD in bays case, and fit the bay case having attached the HDD in the bay...
So in other words, if the bays connected, you insert HDD without cables and without screws... secondary HDDs connect indirectly via bay connection with SATA
You have any idea how connect secondary HDD bays with SATA cable to the motherboard... for HP Z620?

sorry I do not understand
you tell me that this connects directly and then you ask how one connects the HDD?
but if not, the documents given, it is not explained?
does this correspond to the second document or not?

I meant the sata cable from motherboard connects to the HDD's bay
The HDD to add
Remove from bay the HDD's case
Put HDD in the case
And fit case/w/HDD to the bay
See here 1:25-1:45 in the video:

What we see here is an ultra simple and fast installation system.
I have a bit of the same system, and there is nothing to do, the HDD is connected directly from what I see in the video
Check if there is a trace in the bios
The first document doesn't show any of that, does it?
the second is not the right one, is it?

In fact the hp Z620 belongs to one of my friends, and the guy sell to him ssys he will send him cables, because bays are not connected to motherboard
The bays such these are connected to Sata connectors on the motherboard? Also to power supply
That's i ask is, how can wired the bays HDD's to the motherboard...?
The back cover of Z620 hp case, is removable like front cover?

In fact, is the computer not yours and is it incomplete?
It is necessary to search in various documents, I did not find a manual which details everything as for certain models
see the different links here, like for example

the z620 and z820 have "HotSwap" drive bays if you remove a drive, and look at the inside, at the end you will see the SATA/SAS data /power sockets that mate to a HD
https://www.amazon.com/HP-683772-001-Cable-assembly-connections/dp/B008L33YC4
for the z620 you should have 3 sata cables labeled 0/1/2 that match up to each bay that has 0/1/2 stamped into it
these cables connect to the intel RSTe "SCU" ports that require the 4.3 or 4.6 driver to enable usage
HP has the 4.3 driver posted on the z620 driver page
