How to diagnose HDD HP Z820 Workstation ?

If through the F2 or HP diagnostic tool, HDD results is not installed.

I use LSI Card, how to check via LSI Card?

If it is a brand new hard drive then it may have come to you "raw" with no partitioning or formatting.  It that case it will not show up for you in the usual way.  You can perhaps see it in Device Manager, and perhaps partition it and then format it with the built in Disk Management utility.

yes correct new hard drive, if viewed from the device manager it should be seen. because the OS has ben been installed. i want to know, how to see and diagnose hard drive without going through OS ?

Because HP has a diagnostic tool for diagnosing hardware, Running without OS, But why for HP workstation can not be used, or HP have different ways for different types of workstation
