HP ProDesk 600 G1 Tower PC

There are "what appears to be" two available PCI Slots.

The problem is there doesn't appear to be any way to remove the metal Covers that allow a Card to be installed.

Did HP, for some reason, Weld or Rivet the Covers in place?

My Serial Number is  [edited]- My Product Number is 3AN86UC#ABA.

Your feedback will be appreciated as I have the PC torn apart and useless right now.

Please HELP!

Mike

@Mike-Lynch,

The SFF's PCIe rear-panel bracket(s) can be removed somewhat easily by using a regular screwdriver, and by gently prying/wiggling the bracket(s) loose, then removing them and throwing them away, since they were not meant (cannot be) to be reused.

Please be careful not to hurt/cut yourself.

Btw, Please Note that you don't have a lot a space between a (single slot) graphics card and the power supply.  Also, the 180-watt power supply cannot power anything beyond a ~40-watt graphics card.

Kind Regards,

@Mike-Lynch,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

OK, the product number you provided (3AN86UC#ABA) pertains to an HP ProDesk 600 G3 Small Form Factor PC.

In your Tags, it says: "HP ProDesk 600 G1 Tower PC" as well under the "Product" heading.

I assume your question is about the 600 G3 SFF -please acknowledge.

Kind Regards,
