Microsoft Windows 11

I would like to power an HP Elite mini 800 G9 using a DC power supply. The PC can take 19.5V, up to 4.56A and 90W. However it seems that the AC power supply creates some sort of handshake with the NUC and will not let me power directly from a DC source. Is there a solution to this?

Please so NOT kill your machine. The smart adapter which came with the machine is the way to go. Does it have a communication pin ?

Hello Banhien,

Correct! It does have a communication pin. Is there any way to bypass it/ emulate it? I need to use this pc from a DC supply directly.

Many thanks,

George

As mentioned above, please do not kill your machine. Just use its original adapter.
